Purpose of our Privacy Policy

George’s, Inc. (“George’s”) appreciates the sensitivity and privacy with which your job search should be handled. To that end, George’s created this privacy policy (the “Policy”) to emphasize our commitment to privacy. The Policy describes how George’s collect, protect, and use information received from you through George’s Employment Application website (the “Website”). Please understand that the Policy does not apply to information gathered or collected using any other method. We urge you to read the Policy so that you will understand both our commitment to you and your privacy, and how you can participate in that commitment.

 

The information you provide to us through the Website will contain personal information about you, by using the Website, you are expressly and voluntarily accepting the terms and conditions of the Policy and allowing us to process your application information.

 

Personally Identifiable Information

The Website enables you to apply to current job openings and provide to George’s information about you, your work history, and your job skills. You may search without registering, but if you choose to register to apply for a job and receive email communications, we may collect personally identifiable information including, but not limited to, the following: email address, passwords, name, mailing address, telephone number, social security number, educational information, work history, job preferences, gender, and ethnicity (“Personal Information”).

 

George’s web servers automatically record Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses of visitors, as well as recording the IP addresses of registered users. George’s web servers may also track sites that users visited immediately prior to visiting George’s Website and the search terms utilized to reach George’s Website.

 

George’s web servers also capture and store information that your browser transmits, such as:

1.       Browser type/version;

2.       Operating system type/version;

3.       Date and time of the server request; and

4.       Access status (file transferred, file not found, and so on).

This data is used to generate statistics that help us to further adapt our websites to meet individual needs.

 

How we protect the information you give to us

Personal Information you provide will be secured with industry standards and technology. Since the internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. There is no guarantee that Personal Information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach or malfunction of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

 

Although we have made reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your Personal Information, we cannot promise, and you should not expect, that your Personal Information will always stay private. How we use information we collect from you

We take your privacy very seriously, and we do not sell, rent, or otherwise provide your Personal Information to third parties for marketing purposes. The only instances in which we disclose your Personal Information to third parties are as follows:

·         We may disclose your Personal Information to companies and individuals who perform duties on our behalf, such as website hosting and customer service companies. While these companies may have access to your Personal Information in order to perform their jobs, they are prohibited from sharing your information with any other individual or company.

 

·         We will consider releasing, and may release, Personal Information to third parties to comply with valid legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena, or court order. We may also release Personal Information in order to prevent a crime, for national security, to protect our rights and property, and to protect the personal safety of George’s employees or the public.

 

If you accept that you do want your data to be accessed for employment opportunities, then your contact information will be stored in a database in accordance with the skills and education you selected.  If you select, for example, you have experience in production, then when we have an opening in production we may send you an email with an invitation to apply to for the relevant opening.  After registering as a user, you may choose to opt out of this service. However, if you submit your information to the future openings database, you are agreeing to allow George’s to send you invitations to apply to open positions for which you may qualify.

George’s does not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of thirteen (13). Children should not submit Personal Information to George’s. George’s does not provide any Personal Information, regardless of its source, to any third party for any purpose from anyone identified as being less than thirteen (13) years of age, other than to comply with valid legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena, or court order.  George’s does not use any Personal Information from anyone identified as being under the age of thirteen (13) for marketing or promotional purposes. Applicable Law

The Policy is governed and will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas. If you use our services and/or reside outside the United States, your information will be transferred to the United States and will be processed and stored under United States privacy standards. By using our services and providing information to us, you consent to such transfer to the United States, processing, and storage standards.

 

Important Information

Notice of all changes that materially affect ways in which your Personal Information may be used or shared will be posted in updates to the Policy.  If we change the Policy, we will post the changes to our Website, and may alert registered users to such change via email.
